GREENWOOD, South Carolina - Seven Big Blue placed for #23 Bluefield State at the Carolina Clash Saturday, led by the Fritz brothers, 4-0. Caleb Fritz bracket title at 141 and Justin Fritz bracket title in 174.
In addition to Fritz brothers, the Big Blue DaShawn Cosby went 3-1 at 149 at the event, held in greenwood. Cosby led in pins with 2 with a total time of 2:31.
Gabe Nesmith had one pin in:53. Nesmith had the fastest fall of the day overall in team statistics.
Caleb Fritz also had one pin in 5:23. Caleb led the team in total points with 18.
Justin Fritz went 4-0 on the day on the way to finish first amongst his team with the most total match points, 37.

The Big Blue will be off next weekend and will return to action on Dec. 12 to host the first wrestling Dual in Bluefield State History against the University of North Carolina Pembroke. First match is set for 2:00 p.m.
