WHEELING, West Virginia - The Bluefield State wrestling team dropped a tough battle to Wheeling University Thursday evening, 25-24.
Gabriel Nesmith (133) dropped to Chase Montgomery in a decision, 17-5.
The Big Blue added 12 more in two forfeits over Wheeling University.
Brennon Reid (157) defeated Jaden Berner in a Decision, 8-3.
In the deciding match of the evening, Clarouly Meca (285) topped Brian Shaw in a Pinfall 1:44.
