BRISTOL, Tennessee - The Bluefield State men's tennis team rolled past King University in a midweek matchup Wednesday afternoon at King tennis courts, 5-2.
The Big Blue started strong going 3-0 in doubles.
Luke Busse and
Fabian Avail-Torres clinched the win on court three, 6-1.
Teddy Razafindratsima and
Tom Schmieta continued the momentum with a win on court two, 6-4.
Frederik Bau-Madsen and
Juan Manuel De Freitas extended the Big Blue lead with a win on court one, 6-3.
Frederik Bau-Madsen secured a win in the number one spot sweeping Alex Sodre, (6-4), (7-5).
Teddy Razafindratsima fought hard for the win over Rhys Halcrow in the number two spot, (6-4, 2-6, 6-4).
Tom Schmieta also battled for the number three spot win against Andre Schiabel, (6-2, 3-6, 6-0).
Fernando Arguello fell in the number five spot, (5-7, 4-6).
Fabian Avail-Torres secured the Big Blue win by winning the number four spot against Miodrag Popovic, (6-1, 6-0).
