ENDINBORO, Pennsylvania -- The Bluefield State men's tennis team defeated Fairmont State on day one of the NCAA Atlantic Region, 4-0.
The Big Blue captured the doubles point winning two out of the three matches. Frederik Bau-Madsen and Juan De Freitas dropped their doubles match on court one, 6-4.
Teddy Razafindratsima and Tom Schmieta defeated Seena Saadevandi and Elia Barozzi on court two, 6-4. Fabian Avail-Torres and Luke Busse got the win on court three, 7-6 (3).
Teddy Razafindratsima did not finish the match in the number one spot, (4-6, 6-2, 1-2). Tom Schmieta also did not finish in the number three spot against Seena Saadevandi, (7-5, 6-5).
Frederik Bau-Madsen got the win over Elia Barozzi in the number two spot, (6-0,2-6,6-3). Fabian Avail-Torres defeated David Velayos in the number five spot, (6-4,6-3).
Fernando Arguello clinched the win for the Big Blue in the number six spot defeating Alex Stacy, (6-3,7-5).
