Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University volleyball finished the regular season in second place in the northern division, securing home court advantage in the Quarterfinal round of CIAA Championships.
The Big Blue will host Fayetteville State Tuesday, November 14th at 6 p.m.
Big Blue
The Big Blue finished the regular season with a conference record of 12-5 and an overall record of 15-16.
Jannice Lynch currently leads the Big Blue with 288 kills on the season followed by Kateryna Dashevska with 897 assists and 307 digs. Imani Stokes leads the Big Blue in Blocks with 78.
Broncos
Fayetteville State finished the regular season with a conference record of 15-3 and an overall record of 18-12.
The Broncos are led by Casandra Watson with 270 kills followed by Nikole Akamine with 459 assists.
Previous Match Up
The last matchup during the CIAA Roundup, the Broncos took the 3-2 victory over the Big Blue with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 17-25, 25-17 and 3-15.
The Big Blue were led by Jannice Lynch with 13 kills, Kateryna Dashevska with 29 assists and eight digs, Imani Stoke with four blocks and three Gabrielle Money.
The Broncos were led by Jordan Johnson with 25 digs, Jaida Bynum with 24 assists, Cassandra Watson with 22 kills and two aces, and A'Lexus Everett with one block.
