Richmond, VA – Bluefield State University women's and men's cross-country teams competed in the VUU XC Invitational on Friday.
A 2nd place finish by Kellie Williams with a time of 22:01 helped lead the women's team to 2nd place overall. Genesis Lee placed fourth and secured a new personal record of 25:13. Khrisalyn Kegler took 7th place (25:13) with freshman Ja'Delle Major and Kaya Wharton finishing 14th and 15th with times of 27:11 and 27:27.
On the men's side, Freshman Luke Sigman took 4th place (32:05) followed by Austin Sigman in 10th place (33:14) which led to a 3rd place finish in the meet.
