Durham, NC – Bluefield State University football capped the 2025 season with six players earning postseason recognition from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), marking one of the program's strongest award showings since rejoining the conference.
Two Big Blue standouts earned All-CIAA First Team honors. Wide receiver Brandon Wiley earned a first-team selection after leading the CIAA in receiving yards with 750. Danny Dales earned first-team honors after ranking first in the CIAA in punting average at 40.8 yards per punt, converting on 23 out of 27.
Three Big Blue collected All-CIAA Second Team honors: Julian Crawley, RJ Hairston, and Kamaree Wells. Wide receiver Julian Crawley finished the year with 10 touchdowns totaling 655 yards, averaging 23.39 per catch, ranking 4th in the CIAA. Tight End RJ Hairson added 421 receiving yards and two touchdowns, ranking among the top 15 in the conference. On the defensive side, DB Kamaree Wells, after finishing the season with 64 total tackles (48 solo, 16 assists), also recorded two interceptions, four pass breakups, and 5.5 tackles for loss.
Two players were named to the All-Rookie Team, highlighting the program's emerging young talent. Crawley earned an additional postseason honor with his selection to the offensive rookie team, while DB Taviun Chandler earned defensive rookie recognition after recording 29 total tackles and a fumble recovery in his first collegiate season.
