Baltimore, MD – Bluefield State University women's basketball fall to defending champions Fayetteville State University 72-54. The Big Blue finish the 2024-25 season 11-19 (3-13 CIAA).
The Broncos outscored the Big Blue 18-9 in the first quarter but the Big Blue pulled within four three minutes into the second. The Broncos extended their lead to eight with seven seconds to go, but two free throws from Tianna Rhodes cut the deficit to six to go into the half. The Big Blue were outscored 23-10 in the third to allow the Broncos to pull away to secure the 72-54 victory over the Big Blue.
Jasmine Jenkins led the Big Blue with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Azariah Binford added 11 points, with Rhodes having 10 points and six rebounds.
