Bluefield, WV – Freshman Ekin Ozmen earned CIAA Player of the Year as announced by the CIAA on Friday.

Ekin Ozmen is undefeated in conference play and 11-1 overall at singles No. 1 for the Big Blue. Ozmen collected out of conference victories over MEC opponents West Virginia State, West Liberty and Fairmont State. Ozmen is also undefeated in conference play at doubles No. 1 with an 8-0 record, 8-4 overall with a nonconference win over West Liberty.
