Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University women's outdoor Track & Field team was awarded the Dr. Freddie Vaughn's Highest Team GPA Award by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA).

"Student-athletes are what we promote here at Bstate," said head coach Wesley Arthur. "Our women's team continues to exemplify the standard."

The team's combined GPA was 3.08, and they continue to strive for excellence in both the classroom and athletics.
