Roanoke, WV – Bluefield State University men's golf finished third overall at the Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational hosted by the University of Charleston at the Stonewall Resort. The Big Blue posted a team score of +36 (870) across three days, placing behind Glenville State (+20) and Fairmont State (+28).
Individually, Magnus Nielsen led the way for the Big Blue with rounds of 71 (-1), 76 (+4), and 77 (+5) to finish +8, tied for 11th place. Close behind was Michael Wilson, who posted rounds of 72 (E), 74 (+2), and 79 (+7) for a +9 total, finishing 13th.
William Hixon (79-75-75, +13), Eman Lim (78-79-72, +13), and Alexander Hambleton (73-78-81, +16) rounded out the scoring for the Big Blue. All five Big Blue golfers finished inside the top 30.
