Salisbury, NC – Bluefield State University men's and women's cross country competed at the 2025 Blue Bear XC Invitational hosted by Livingstone College on Friday, with the men's team placing fourth and the women's team taking third overall.
In the men's 5K, the Big Blue posted a team time of 1:41:32 to secure a fourth-place finish. Nellie Ambriton led the Big Blue with an 8th-place finish in 18:21.1. Ean Nance followed in 15th (19:35.6), while Sekou Coulibaly ran 20:33.6 to place 18th. Jeremiah Wingfield (21:09.8, 20th) and Timothy Roberts (21:53.0, 25th) rounded out the scoring lineup.
On the women's side, the Big Blue grabbed third place with a combined time of 1:56:10 in the 4.5K race. Kellie Williams led the team with an 8th-place finish in 19:59.3. Genesis Lee claimed 10th (21:08.9), and Miasia Seymour placed 15th (22:32.1). Taleyah Palmer (25:57.8, 24th) and Abrielle King (26:32.5, 26th) closed out the scoring for the Big Blue.
