Baltimore, MD – Bluefield State University women's basketball has earned the 4^th seed in the Northern Division heading into the CIAA Basketball Tournament. The Big Blue will take on Shaw 5S in the opening round on Tuesday, February 24^th at 2:20 p.m.

The Big Blue finished the regular season 14-11 (8-8 CIAA, 5-5 Division). The campaign was highlighted by Jasmine Jenkins leading the way with 385 points, 126 rebounds, 88 steals, 50 assists and 10 blocks. Jhakia Gist added a major offensive spark with 283 points, including 56 threes.
