Big Blue Golf Dominates CIAA Regular Season Awards

Mebane, NC – Bluefield State University men's golf dominated the 2026 CIAA Golf regular season awards.

After consistent performances across both the Northern and Southern tournaments, the Big Blue secured the overall top spot with a combined score of 1791 to claim the Northern Division title while Fayetteville claimed the Southern Division title.

Freddie Timmis swept the individual awards after being named Rookie of the Year and Player of the year after leading the field with a total stroke count of 439. Sam Berry was named Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year.

The All-CIAA team is headlined by the top 10 finishers with the lowest scores, including seven Big Blue:
