Mebane, NC – Bluefield State University men's golf took a fourth-place finish at the CIAA men's golf championship. The Big Blue carded a three-day total of +36 (900), highlighted by a strong final round where the team posted a tournament-low +5 to climb the leaderboard.
Fayetteville State claimed the conference title at +8, followed by Winston-Sale State (+12) and Virginia State (+31).
Leading the charge for the Big Blue was Eman Lim, whose performance earned him a spot on the CIAA All-Tournament Team. Lim finished tied for third place overall at +1 (217). After opening with a 75, Lim surged through the final two rounds with a 72 and a 70 to secure his podium finish.
Ben Lyons also turned in a solid performance for the Big Blue, finishing tied for 14th at +10 (226). Alex Hambleton followed in a tie for 17th with a total of +13 (229), with identical rounds of 74 over the final two days.
Rounding out the scoring for the Big Blue, Freddie Timmis and Joe Emery finished tied for 28th at +22 (238). Timmis provided a massive boost in the final round, firing an even-par 72 to help anchor the Big Blue's strong finish.
