Head Golf Coach Sam Berry officially appointed Garry Moore Senior as Assistant Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach in February 2023. Coach Moore brings a wealth of knowledge to both programs and plays a key role in helping his players develop both in golf and in the classroom. Coach Moore is an avid golfer and prides himself on course management. As well as being Assistant golf coach, Garry Moore Senior was appointed Chancellor of the university in July 2022. As well as being chancellor and assistant golf coach Garry is also a very well recognized person in the community, he served as Mayor of Bluefield, WV from 2003- 2005. Garry also serves as Pastor of the Scotts Street Baptist church since 1990, coming up on his 33rdanniversary with the church. Garry lives in Bluefield with his wife Kimberly. He is the proud father of his 3 children Kiara, Dexter and Greyson, and grandfather to Deckland, Reese, Killian, Caanan, Jabryl, Khalil, Amari.
