David Clark was a member of the 1996 WVIAC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship team. David made the shot that was heard around the conference in the conference championship at Charleston Civic Center vs. Fairmont State, who was predicted to win the tournament that year. Bluefield State was down by two with three seconds on the clock, and David put Bluefield State on top with a half-court shot. David is an NCAA Division II All-American, 1996 Division II steals leader, All-WVIAC First Team (1996), and a part of the 1996 WVIAC All-Tournament team and Tournament MVP. David graduated with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice in May of 1996 from Bluefield State and a Masters Degree in Education (Sports Management) from Wingate University.
