Box Score Bluefield, W.Va.— The Bluefield State Men's Basketball team lost 66-81 to Concord University in the second game of the 2015 Currence Classic tonight in the Ned E. Shott Gymnasium in Bluefield, W.Va.
In the first game of the night, Francis Marion took the 83-80 victory over Johnson C. Smith.

The Big Blues started out hot taking an early 10-5 lead, but the Mountain Lions started to into their offense and started making shots to cut the lead and eventually take the lead 28-27 just under 5 minutes left in the first half.
The Big Blues were down by 4 points at the break, 31-35. Freshman Chaz Harvey had 14 points, while Joshua Windham had 8 points and 2 assists at the half.
In the second half, the Mountain Lions pushed the lead to 9 points, 53-44, at about the 14 minute mark, but the Big Blues cut into the lead to get within 6 points after a three by Joshua Windham.
The Mountain Lions extended their lead to 15 points with under nine minutes on the clock after three made free-throws.
The Big Blues fought back and got within 7 points after a layup by Jamal McCoy with less than 5 minutes remaining, but couldn't get any closer the rest of the game. The Mountain Lions pushed the lead up with 16 points, the biggest deficit of the game, with under 1-minute remaining and held on to the 81-66 victory.
For the game, the Big Blues shot 31.5% from the field, 25.8% from three, and 80% from the free-throw line. The Mountain Lions shot 45.8% from the field, 28% from three, and 62.5% from the free-throw line.
The Mountain Lions out-rebounded the Big Blues 43-48, but the big difference in the game were free-throws. The Big Blues shot 12-for-15 while the Mountain Lions were 20-for-32.
Junior Joshua Windham (pictured) had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He also had 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Freshman Chaz Harvey had 16 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal.
Senior Avery Holliday had 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, had 2 steals, and 1 assists. Junior Jamal McCoy had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal in just 17 minutes of action.
