The Big Blue Drop Second Home Game to Lincoln Memorial

BLUEFIELD - The Bluefield State women's basketball team dropped their second home game to Lincoln Memorial at Ned E. Shott Gym Tuesday evening, 79-65. The Big Blue drop to 0-2, while the Railsplitters improve to 3-1.

Tuesday evening, Bluefield State struggled to get something going in the first half however, the Big Blue managed to cut the Railsplitters lead to one point at the half, making the score 34-33.The Big Blue came out in the second half still not finding a rhythm but fought in both quarters. At the end they just couldn't find a way to keep the ball on their side of the court. 

The Bluefield State forwards worked in the paint as both scored in double digits, led by sophomore Derricak Bramwell whose 16 points and seven rebounds were the most for the Big Blue Tuesday evening. Followed by freshman Londen Coleman who posted 11 points.

The season will continue on Tuesday, December 8 with the second road game of the season at Shaw University. The Big Blue with face the Bears at C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium.
