Box Score BLUEFIELD, WV - The Bluefield State Soccer team (1-2-0) captured their first regular-season win Saturday afternoon over Ohio Valley University, 4-2. Paige O'Toole grabbed the first goal of the game at the 20-minute mark that was unassisted.

The win comes after two losses on the road to West Virginia State University and Lincoln Memorial.
"We've worked this week on some things to improve our overall game and it was great to see the team put them into action," said Head Coach Scott Forster.
It's a challenging game if you're not together as a team and it's great to see the togetherness of this group convert to a big win. "
Bianka Zeitvogel scored the second goal for the Big Blue at the 34-minute mark with no assist.
Manuela Filipe gave the Fight Scot's their first goal at the 52-minute mark.
Shannon Henson substituted at the 79-minute mark. Henson quickly gave the Big Blue their third goal shortly after at the 82-minute mark.
Henson rolled through with another goal at the 86-minute mark. Jauregui Ximena rushed to score the Fighting Scots's second goal at the 87-minute mark.
Goalkeeper Noemi Christ only captured seven saves Saturday afternoon.
