Bluefield, WV – Bluefield University Soccer took down Carolina University 3-0 in the final home game of the 2022 season.

Prior to kick-off, the Big Blue Soccer team honored professors at Bluefield State. Each player selected a professor that has positively impacted their time at Bluefield State.

The Big Blue got on the board first after Martina Cardemil found the back of the net, assisted by Campbell Page to break the no score game in the 37^th minute.

Going into the second half with the 1-0 advantage, the Big Blue scored on back-to-back possessions. First by Kira Zoeller and then Isabella Esteves, assisted by Marlena Meyer in the 55^th minute.

The Big Blue outshot the Bruins 19-6 with 14 shots on goal.
