BLUEFIELD -- The Bluefield State men's tennis team rolled past Salem University afternoon, 5-2.
The Big Blue got up early sweeping in doubles play, 3-0.
Frederik Bau-Madsen and Juan De Freitas got the first win in the doubles match on court one, 7-5.
Teddy Razafindratsima and
Tom Schmieta won their set on court two against Pablo Guillen and Daniel Paipa, 6-3.
Luke Busse and
Fabian Avail-Torres clinched the doubles win for the Big Blue on court three, 6-1.
Teddy Razafindratsima battled in the number one spot but fell against Daniel Paipa, (6-4, 6-3).
Tom Schmieta defeated Alexander Lazar in the number three spot, (6-2, 6-3).
Luke Busse continued the streak in the number four spot. Busse blew past Pablo Guillen, (6-1, 6-1).
Frederik Bau-Madsen defeated Pablo Noya in the number two spot, (6-2, 6-2).
Fernando Arguello fell in a tough loss in the number six spot for the Big Blue, (6-4, 6-7, 9-11).
Fabian Avail-Torres clinched the win for the Big Blue defeating Eduardo Cama in the number five spot, (6-3, 6-0).
