CHARLOTTE, North Carolina -- The Bluefield State men's tennis team rolled past Johnson C. Smith Wednesday afternoon, 6-1.
The Big Blue got up early sweeping in doubles play, 2-0. Frederik Bau-Madsen and Juan De Freitas got the first win in the doubles match on court one, 6-2.
Teddy Razafindratsima and Tom Schmieta won their set on court two against Tinashe Tarubereka and Jerome Adonis, 6-1.
Fabian Avail-Torres rolled past Tayvon Lassiter in the number four spot, (6-0, 6-0). Teddy Razafindratsima defeated Kofi Bowe in the number one spot, (6-2, 2-6, 7-10).
Tom Schmieta defeated Tinashe Tarubereka in the number two spot, (6-4, 2-6, 10-3). Luke Busse continued the streak in the number three spot. Busse blew past Jerome Adonis, (6-2, 6-0).
Juan De Freitas dropped in a hard-fought fight in the number five spot, (1-6, 6-1, 10-7).
