Soccer Faces Tough Competition at Lees-McRae

Banner Elk, NC - Bluefield State University soccer dropped a road game against Lees-McRae 3-0.

LMC jumped out to an early lead scoring in the 13th minute and again in the 32nd minute. The Bobcats sealed the deal with a goal in the second half to take the game 3-0.

Freshman goalie, Rylee Truslow, had 14 saves for the Big Blue.

"We went up against some stiff opposition today. It's great to test yourself against the best" said Coach Scott Forster. "The score line may flatter as we really competed and matched them for spells in the game. Ultimately we built on our learning. They developed together as a team against a new level of opponent away from home, it fills me with joy as a coach."
