Bluefield, WV - Bluefield State volleyball secure another win at home against Lees-McRae, 3-2. 

LMC jumped out to an early lead, but a kill from Kateryna Dashevska tied it up 12-12. After falling behind three later in the set, a kill from Caely Pickerd sparked a three point run for the Big Blue to tie it at 18. Bstate would pull within one off of a kill from Lindsey Neal before LMC would score the next three to take set one 25-21. 

A kill from Dashevska started an eight point run for the Big Blue to extend their lead 12-8 early in the first set. This included two kills and four aces from Dashevska and two Bobcat miscues. The Big Blue had their largest lead of the set, 21-14, after three consecutive points from an ace from Neal and two Bobcat errors. The final point of the set came from an Allyson Martin kill to take the set 25-19. 

Back-to-back kills from Martin opened up set three to give the Big Blue the early lead. The Big Blue began to pull away (17-9) after a kill and ace from Martin and another kill by Neal. The Bobcats tried to make a late run to take the lead, but a ball handling and attacking error secured set three for the Big Blue 25-18. 

After the Bobcats took set four to force the deciding set, the Big Blue outscored LMC 9-3 to open the set. A kill from Jordan Duncan put the Big Blue in position to take the set 14-8. After the Bobcats added one off of an error, the Big Blue bounced back off of a kill from Martin to take the set and victory over Lees-McRae.
