Elizabeth City, NC – Bluefield State University Football fell to Elizabeth City State 38-20 on Saturday.
The Big Blue converted on their first drive after Isiah Teal found Perry Wilder III for a 67-yard touchdown pass with Braxton Vanscoy with a good field goal to take the early 7-0 lead. The Vikings then answered back with a touchdown of their own on the next drive to even the score 7-7. The Vikings extended their lead 14-7 into the second quarter.
The Vikings extended their lead to go into the half with the 21-7 advantage over the Big Blue.
The Big Blue added another after Lucas Moore rushed for the 2-yard touchdown with two minutes left in the third quarter, but the Vikings answered on the kickoff return to extend their lead 28-14 and added another to go into the quarter with the 35-20 lead.
The Vikings went on to extend their lead in the fourth quarter with a field goal, 39-20, to take the victory over the Big Blue.
