Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University soccer secured the 3-1 victory over Shaw University. with goals from Jailynn Creek, Kirsten Woodyard, and Raquel Leonardo, the Big Blue improved their season record to 3-5-2, while Shaw dropped to 5-6-0.
The match started with both teams battling for control, but Bluefield State broke through in the 20th minute. Jailynn Creek found the back of the net, giving the Big Blue an early 1-0 lead.
