Bluefield, WV - Bluefield State University volleyball continued its dominance in the CIAA with a 3-0 sweep over Virginia Union. The Big Blue improved to 10-12 overall and 7-0 in conference play, while Virginia Union dropped to 6-14 and 3-5 in the CIAA.
The Big Blue took control early, edging out the Panthers 26-24 in the first set, 25-19 in the second set and dominating the third set 25-10.
The Big Blue attack was led by Jannice Lynch, who posted 14 kills, with a hitting percentage of .458. Imani Stokes tallied 13 kills (.579 hitting percentage) and four blocks. Gabby Hale came away with 28 assists on the night. Â
