Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University Volleyball will host Winston-Salem State at Ned Shott Gymnasium on Tuesday for the quarterfinal round of CIAA Championships.
After finishing the regular season 15-17 (11-4 CIAA), the Big Blue clinched the #2 seed in the northern division.
Earlier in the season after dropping the first two sets, the Big Blue bounced back to take down Winston-Salem State in five sets.
Jannice Lynch leads the Big Blue with 368 kills, 267 digs, and 69 service aces. Imani Stokes adds 234 kills and 104 digs on the year. Gabby Hale has had a standout freshman year campaign with a total of 828 assists with Sydney Hoosier contributing 370 kills.
The Rams come into this match up with a 14-10 (11-5 CIAA) record on the year. Tops performers for the Rams include Malani Martin with 190 kills, Brooke Norwood with 353 assists, Jewel Pitt with 328 digs and Kamiyah Wilson with 51 assists.
Action will kick off at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18th at Ned Shott Gymnasium.
