Athens, WV - Jannice Lynch was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Concord Classic Volleyball Tournament over the weekend. The Big Blue went 0-3 against West Virginia Wesleyan, Davis & Elkins and Concord.
Game One vs. West Virginia Wesleyan
The Big Blue dropped game one against West Virginia Wesleyan 22-25, 19-25 and 17-25. Jannice Lynch led the Big Blue nine kills, four blocks, eight digs and two aces. Gabby Hale added 15 assists with Sydney Hoosier contributing eight.
Game Two vs. Davis & Elkins
The Big Blue took set four to force five sets against Davis & Elkins but fell 23-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-23 and 13-15. Lynch came away with eight aces, 12 kills, and 21 digs. Hoosier had 24 assists with Callesta Styles adding blocks.
Game Three vs. Concord
The Big Blue battled in set three, but ultimately fell to Concord 17-25, 16-25, and 29-31. Lynch tied for most kills with 11, and three aces. Brishaela McHaney had four blocks with Kaileigh Solis coming away with 14 digs.
