Bluefield, WV — Bluefield State University Athletics proudly hosted its first-ever Athletics Day of Giving, rallying Big Blue fans, families, alumni, and community supporters to raise $115,000 in support of student-athletes and athletic programs.

Director of Athletics Brodderick Tucker shared his excitement, stating, "We're grateful for the incredible generosity shown by our Big Blue community. I'm enthusiastic about our current success and the bright future of Bluefield State Athletics."

"The Athletics Day of Giving has set a powerful precedent for what we can achieve together," Bluefield State President Martin Said. "When our alumni, friends and supporters invest in our student-athletes, they are investing in leadership, perseverance, and the lifelong values that Bluefield State stand for."

This milestone event marks the beginning of a new tradition dedicated to growing and strengthening Big Blue Athletics for years to come.
