Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University volleyball dropped a four-set battle against crosstown rival Concord University, 3-1 (25-17, 15-25, 12-25, 14-25).
The Big Blue took control early, winning the first set 25-17, but the Mountain Lions responded to take the next three.
Allyson Martin led the Big Blue with 14 kills and 14 digs, while Soniya Garner followed with six kills and eight digs. Gabrielle Hale paced the offense with 23 assists, adding nine digs and two blocks. Kaileigh Solis added 14 digs and one ace serve, with Maya Morales tallying 17 digs. Callesta Styles finished the night with four kills and a block, and Nnea Williams added four blocks.
