Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University Volleyball cruised to a straight-set victory over Elizabeth City State University (25-17, 25-17, 25-17). The Big Blue improved to 12-15 overall and 9-3 in CIAA play.
The Big Blue were dominant on both sides of the ball, hitting .303 as a team and holding the Vikings to just .091. The Big Blue tallied 42 kills, 38 assists, 43 digs, and seven ace serves.
Allyson Martin led the Big Blue with 11 kills and 11 digs for a double-double. Dynasty Andrews and Callesta Styles each added nine kills, with Styles hitting .750 on the night and adding two blocks. Soniya Garner followed with nine kills and two ace serves while Gabrielle Hale and Tessa Heffner combined for 35 assists. Kaileigh Solis had three ace serves, and Maya Morales tallied 10 digs and an ace.
