Athens, WV – Bluefield State University men's basketball dropped a road matchup at Concord University 61-50.
The Big Blue trailed 26-23 in the first half after holding the Mountain Lions to 8-of-28 shooting in the first. The Big Blue controlled the offensive glass early and forced seven turnovers. The Mountain Lions outscored the Big Blue 35-27 in the second half to create separation to secure the win.
Anthony Davenport led the Big Blue with 13 points followed by Ellija Preddy with 11 points and three assists, while Kyree Smith finished with eight points and five rebounds off the bench.
