Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University volleyball took down Bowie State 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-22). The Big Blue improve to 13-16 overall and 10-4 in conference play.
The Big Blue hit .333 as a team while holding the Bulldogs to .214. The Big Blue totaled 40 kills, 39 digs, 37 assists, and nine aces as a team.
Allyson Martin led the Big Blue with 13 kills on .444 hitting, adding six digs and an ace. Dynasty Andrews followed with eight kills while Soniya Garner added nine kills and a block. Gabrielle Hale directed the offense with 33 assists on the night and adding four digs, an ace, and a block. Kaileigh Solis served four aces with Maya Morales coming away with a game high 17 digs.
