Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University women's basketball collected their third consecutive win after a 70-51 victory over Ferrum College. The Big Blue improve to 4-3 on the season.
The Big Blue created turnovers and converted in transition to build an 18-11 lead over the Panthers after the first. The Big Blue carried that momentum into the second, scoring 19 points to take a 37-26 lead into halftime.
The Big Blue continued to stretch the margin, scoring 18 points in the third, 55-36. The Big Blue kept control in the fourth to close out the 70-51 win.
Jayla Sample led the Big Blue with 15 points, followed by Jasmine Jenkins with 14 points, four assists, and six steals. Leniyah Fulsom added 13 points and four steals while Michelle McGee chipped in eight points, and Sy Crowley had five points off the bench.
