Richmond, VA – Alexander Hambleton won the individuals to lead the Big Blue to a third-place team finish at the CIAA Northern Division Tournament hosted by Virginia Union in Richmond, Virginia.
Alexander Hambleton finished at the top of the leaderboard after finishing 2-under 68 in round 2, finishing with a total of 144 (+3). Joshua Moss finished with a total of 154 to finish tied for 17th place. Ben Lyons and Eman Lim tied for 20th with a 155, with Tanner Dorsey rounding out the scoring at 24th with a 156.
"I was very proud of the way the guys fought during a difficult couple of days with the rain and cold," said Head Coach Sam Berry. "A third-place finish was a great result after being in 5th place after the first round. A special shout out to Alex Hambleton who won medalists with a phenomenal second round, 68 (-2). Alex has been working hard and to see him get over the line for his first college win is something I am very proud of."
