On behalf of the entire Athletic Department, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to each of you for earning your place on a BState athletic team. Your commitment, discipline, and passion for your sport have not gone unnoticed, and it is an honor to support you on your journey as a scholar-athlete.
As we begin the season, remember that representing Bluefield State is about more than just wins and losses, it's about becoming a leader, building lasting relationships, and carrying yourself with integrity both on and off the field of play. Whether you're competing on the court, field, mat, track, or stage, your role as a scholar-athlete is a powerful opportunity to represent this institution with pride.
This year, our department is emphasizing Commitment, Character, and Community. We expect every scholar-athlete to show up prepared, support your teammates, and serve as a positive example for your peers and the greater Bluefield community. Wearing your Blue and Gold with pride at every practice, game, and event is an opportunity to grow and lead.
To our returning athletes, thank you for your continued leadership and resilience. To our newcomers, welcome to the Family we're excited to see the talent, energy, and perspective you bring to your teams and to Bluefield State.

Through fundraising, sponsorships, and efficient operations, we work to ensure long-term stability and continued investment in you our scholar-athletes as well as the facilities and resources you rely on.
