The contest was a defensive struggle from the start, with both teams locked at 30 heading into the half. The game featured nine ties and 13 lead changes. The Big Blue capitalized on transitions and points in the paint to secure the win, outscoring the Lions 17-6 in fast-break points and 34-28 in the interior.
Warren Mouganda delivered a standout performance, posting a double-double with a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds while adding three steals. Myles Pierre contributed 12 points and Anthony Latty anchored the middle with 11 points and three rebounds. Ellija Preddy added five assists, eight points, and seven rebounds, while Anthony Davenport chipped in eight points.
