Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University Men's basketball secured the 72-51 senior night victory over Elizabeth City State. The Big Blue move to 13-14 overall and 11-5 in conference play.
The Big Blue held the 31-26 lead over the Vikings at the half but took control in the second half, outscoring the Vikings 41-25 to secure the victory. The Big Blue used a strong interior presence, outscoring the Vikings 38-24 in the paint and held the 40-28 rebounding edge.
Ellija Preddy led the Big Blue with 16 points, five rebounds and three assists. Anthony Latty anchored the defense with 15 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks while Myles Pierre contributed 13 points and three assists. Warren Mouganda led the Big Blue with nine rebounds and Sila Tako added nine points and eight rebounds.
