Baltimore, MD – Bluefield State University women's basketball season came to a end after falling to Winson-Salem State 71-49. The Big Blue finish the season with 15-12 record.
The Big Blue kept the rams close through the first half, scoring 11 in the first quarter and 23 in the second; however, the Rams' defense tightened in the second half, holding the Big Blue to just 15 the rest of the way.
Jasmine Jenkins led the Big Blue with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Michelle McGee provided a spark off the bench, contributing 11 points and three steals. Azahreya Drayton-Gill came away with a game-high 10 rebounds.
