Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University Acrobatics & Tumbling hosted West Liberty for senior night. West Liberty took first with a total score of 219.545 with the Big Blue finishing with a total score of 168.595.
The meet opened with the Compulsory event, where the Big Blue finished with a total of 20.35. In the Acro heat, 4.95, followed by a 5.90 in the Pyramid heat. The Big Blue took a 7.50 in the toss heat and finished the event with a 2.00 in the Tumbling heat.
In the Acro heat, in the 5 Element heat, the team earned a 7.00, followed by a 3.75 in the 6 Element heat. The Big Blue finished the event with a 3.30 in the 7 Element heat for a total of 14.05.
Next, in the Pyramid event, the Big Blue recorded a 7.00 in the Inversion heat. The team took a 6.15 in the synchronized heat and closed the event with a 7.60 in the open heat. This brought the Pyramid event total 20.75.
The second half began with the Toss event, earning 7.50 in the 450 Salto heat followed by a 6.40 in the synchronized heat and a 6.50 in the open heat. The Big Blue totaled 20.40 in the Toss event.
The Big Blue continued into the Tumbling event, scoring a 7.450 in the Duo pass, 5.650 in the Trio pass and a 2.000 in the Quad pass. The Big Blue earned a 8.275 in the Aerial pass and a 9.350 in the 6 Element Pass. The Big Blue concluded with a 7.80 in the Open pass for a team total of 40.725.
The event concluded with the Team event for a total of 52.32 and an overall total of 168.595.
