Sailsbury, NC – Bluefield State University men's and women's cross country competed at the Blue Bear XC Invitational hosted by Livingstone College.
Junior
Nellie Ambriton led the way for the Big Blue, taking a 3
rd place overall finish with a time of 17:59.5 to grab top individual points for the Big Blue.
Jeremiah Wingfield and
Sekou Coulibaly crossed the line at the same time with times of 21:31.3 to take 19
th.
Jaylen Hubbard dropped a personal best time of 23:01.6 with
Cornelius Matthews rounding out the group with a time of 23:13.3.
Genesis Lee led the women's squad with a 12th place finish with a time of 12:54.6.
Eden Gilkey placed 24
th overall, followed closely by Kimora Brown (15:24.5),
Latejah Bailey (15:28.2) and
Taleyah Palmer (15:56.1).
