Donald Manley

Coach Donald Manley comes to Bluefield State after coaching at one of the most successful football programs in the country, Mallard Creek high school in Charlotte, North Carolina. There he served as the Running Backs Coach for the 2020-2021 season.

Prior to Mallard Creek, he spent two seasons at North Carolina Central University where he served as a Graduate Assistant with the Offensive Line his first year and was promoted to Tight Ends coach in his second season as a GA. While coaching he also received his Master's degree in Athletic Administration in May of 2020. He began his coaching career at Marco Island Academy in Marco Island, Florida where he assumed the roles of Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach, and Offensive Line Coach and helped lead the team to their best record in school history.

Manley is from Greensboro, North Carolina, and attended Grimsley Highschool where he lettered three years in football and track. He went on to play Left Tackle at North Carolina Wesleyan College where he was a two-year starter and Capitan. He also was selected to the USA South Academic All-Conference Team in 2012.

Outside of football Donald spends most of his time with family. His father and mother, Keith and Mary Manley, as well as his brother, Keith Manley II.
