After a short stint away from Softball teaching History,Government, and coaching baseball  at Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida. Coach Stinson returns to the collegiate game as the Head Coach of the Bluefield State University program under supervision of Athletic Director Derrick Price,.

Stinson will enter is 16th season of collegiate coaching and 13th as a Head Coach.

2005-2006: He assisted the baseball program at Mid-Continent University. Directing the team to a NCCAA Mid-East Regional Title and programs only berth to the NCCAA World Series.

Summer 2006-2009: Took over the softball program at Mid-Continent University and lead them to 3 NCCAA Mid-East Regional titles and 3 appearances in the NCCAA World Series.

Summer 2009-2016: Built softball program at Bryan College into a respected contender that annually competed for the  Appalachian Athletic Conference title. 2014, led program to Co- Regular Season champions and runner-up at AAC Conference Tournament; going on to Opening Round losing in a Rain-Out Ruling to the 2014 National Champions.

2017-2018: Stinson changed course and took an assistant coaching  position at Tennessee Wesleyan University along side 20 year coach Toby Brooks. Assisting the team to just one win away from heading to the NAIA National Tournament.

2019: Coach Stinson led the Southeastern University program in Lakeland,FL.

Coach Stinson is married to his beautiful wife Renee and they have two adorable children Lincoln (10) and Kazryne(4).
