Scott Considine

Scott “Chino” Considine joined Bluefield State University in August 2024 as the Head Baseball Coach, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience and a distinguished military background. He arrived following a highly successful four-year tenure at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), where he helped guide the program to three NCAA Regional Finalsthree NCAA Division II College World Series appearances, and a 127–44 record.

During his time at SNHU, the program posted dominant seasons from 2022–2024, including records of 46–1244–13, and 37–19, multiple NE10-leading performances, record-setting offensive production, and a 2024 East Region Championship with a trip to the Division II National Championship.

Coach Chino previously held coaching roles at Kentucky Christian UniversityWest Virginia Tech, Mt. Heritage High School, and top-tier American Legion and travel programs. He is known for his strong recruiting ability, player development expertise, and leadership-driven coaching philosophy. His work has produced athletes who advanced to Power Four programs and professional baseball.

U.S. Army Combat Veteran, Chino served as a Squad Leader and AH-64D Apache Helicopter Crew Chief in the 82nd Airborne Division with multiple deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He holds a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor Homeland Security and Counterterrorism from SNHU.
