Considine joins Bluefield State after a highly successful four-year tenure as an assistant coach at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), where he played a key role in guiding the Penmen to three NCAA Regional Finals and three trips to the NCAA Division II College World Series. Considine brings over 20 years of combined coaching and military leadership experience to the program.
Prior to his time at SNHU, Considine held assistant coaching positions at Kentucky Christian University and West Virginia Tech University. His coaching career also includes experience at the high school level with Mt. Heritage and extensive involvement in American Legion Baseball and travel baseball programs. As a head coach of the 18U Next Level Baseball (NLB) in North Carolina, he led his team to a top-20 national ranking in Perfect Game and the No. 1 ranking in the region and state.
Considine is known for his ability to recruit top-tier student-athletes and develop winning programs through strategic planning, player development, and community engagement. His coaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, sportsmanship, and leadership, both on and off the field. Beyond baseball, he is deeply committed to mentoring players on character, work ethic, and personal growth.
Before discovering his passion for coaching, Considine served as a Combat Veteran in the U.S. Army. As a Squad Leader and Crew Chief on AH-64D Apache helicopters in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, he completed multiple tours in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His distinguished military service honed his leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills—qualities he now instills in his players through discipline, resilience, and accountability.
With a proven track record of success and a deep commitment to player development, Considine is dedicated to elevating Bluefield State baseball to new heights. He and his wife, Jojo, have one son, Jordan.
