Lakeland, FL- The Big Blues finally made it to Florida for their Spring Break road trip and took on the Florida Southern Mocs. Today was a rough day for the Big Blues as the Mocs really took it to the ladies, winning 9-0.
For the 3 doubles matches the Hernandez sisters were able to take 2 games from the Mocs but Florida Southern was solid up and down the lineup.
On the singles side, Marta followed up here match victory at Benedict on Friday with another strong performance against Florida Southern. She was able to win 2 games late in the first set to really give her Florida Southern opponent a challenge. Alaina Blankenship also played well in her singles match, winning 1 game in each set.
