Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University women's tennis hosted CIAA roundups Saturday and Sunday. The Big Blue fell to Shaw 4-2 in the opening match but bounced back to take down Livingstone, Johnson C. Smith, and Winston-Salem State 4-0.

The Bears took an early lead by securing the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. In singles, the Big Blue won two matchups, but Shaw clinched the victory.
Ekin Ozmen earned a hard-fought win at No. 1, 6-1, 6-4.
Sirisha Dheer delivered a dominant performance at No. 5, 6-1, 6-1.

The Big Blue bounced back in match two of the day with a sweep over Livingstone. The Big Blue secured the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No 3. Anna Felip and Sirisha Dheer took No. 2 6-0, with Isabella Disibbio and Raajitha Koganti earning a win at No. 3 due to WO.
The Big Blue sealed the win with a win at No. 3 singles for Anna Felip, No. 5 for Sirisha Dheer and No. 6 for Isabella Disibbio.

The Big Blue picked up another shutout performance, starting with clinching the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (Adriana Torroba and Ekin Ozmen) 6-2 and at No. 3 (Isabella Disibbio and Raajitha Koganti) due to WO.
In singles, the Big Blue earned wins at No. 1 Ekin Ozmen, 6-3, 6-2, and No. 3 Adriana Torroba 6-1, 6-2. The Big Blue earned a third win at No. 6 Isabella Disibbio due to WO.
Inside the Match vs Winston-Salem State – 4-0 W
The Big Blue earned their third win of the weekend after taking the double points with wins at No. 1 (Adriana Torroba and Ekin Ozmen, 6-2) and No. 2 (Anna Felip and Sirisha Dheer, 6-1).
In singles, the Big Blue clinched the victory in three sets, led by Ekin Ozmen at No. 1, 6-3, 7-6 [7-3]. Anna Felip earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the No. 2 spot, followed by a win at No. 6 from Isabella Disibbio 6-0, 6-1.
