Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University women's tennis player Ekin Ozmen claimed CIAA Player of the Week honors for week 6, as announced by the CIAA on Monday.

Ozmen finished 2-1 on the week in the doubles No. 1 spot, collecting wins over Elizabeth City State (6-1) and West Liberty (6-4). At the No. 1 singles spot, Ozmen took down Elizabeth City State 6-1 and 6-1. At the No. 2 singles spot, she went 2-0 with wins over West Virginia State (1-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-2)) and West Liberty (4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-3)).
